Terms of Use

01Agreement
By visiting calebluh.com (“the site”) you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.
The site is operated by Caleb Luh as an individual, from Wisconsin, United States. It is a personal project, not a commercial service, and it is not operated by or on behalf of any employer.
02My content
Except where noted in section 3, the content of this site — writing, design, photographs, source code, and the projects described — is mine and is protected by copyright.
You may view it, share links to it, and quote short passages with attribution. You may not republish it as your own work, present my projects or résumé as yours, or use the content to train a commercial model without permission. If you want to use something, just email me; the answer is usually yes.
03Trademarks and third-party material
This site displays material I do not own, shown for identification and personal, non-commercial illustration only:
Game characters, artwork, and video from Brawl Starsremain the property of Supercell Oy. This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Supercell, and the material is used in the spirit of Supercell’s fan content policy. Team names, helmet designs, and logos associated with the University of Central Florida and other clubs and schools remain the property of their respective owners and appear here as a personal record of teams I played for. Company names, product names, and logos belonging to past and present employers, certification bodies, and software vendors are the trademarks of those organisations.
No claim of ownership or endorsement is made over any of it. If you own material shown here and would like it removed, email [email protected] and I will take it down promptly.
04Anything you submit
The site accepts a contact message, an optional location for the globe, and a name on the embedded game’s scoreboard. By submitting anything you confirm that it is yours to send and that it is lawful.
You grant me permission to store it and — for globe pins and scoreboard names only — to display it publicly on the site. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what becomes public.
I may remove any submission, at any time, for any reason and without notice — in particular anything unlawful, abusive, deceptive, impersonating someone, infringing, or automated spam.
Please don’t send confidential information. A message sent through this form is not confidential, creates no professional or contractual relationship, and should not contain proprietary, sensitive, or privileged material.
05Acceptable use
You agree not to:
probe, scan, or test the security of the site or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or its underlying infrastructure; interfere with its normal operation or place unreasonable load on it; scrape or harvest it in bulk by automated means; misuse the contact form for spam, bulk solicitation, or malware; or use the site for any unlawful purpose.
06Not professional advice
This site discusses information technology, networking, systems administration, and security. All of it is general information and personal opinion, not professional advice, and it is not tailored to your circumstances. Do not rely on it to secure, configure, or operate any system of yours. Views expressed are my own and not those of any employer, past or present.
Descriptions of professional work are written at a level intended to avoid disclosing any employer’s confidential information, architecture, or security posture.
07No offer or relationship
The résumé, project descriptions, and contact form are provided for informational purposes. Nothing on this site is an offer of employment, an application, a bid, a quote, or a contract, and contacting me does not create any employment, agency, consulting, or professional relationship.
08Links and embedded content
The site links to and embeds material hosted elsewhere, including GitHub, LinkedIn, Credly, Spotify, and a game hosted on GitHub Pages. I don’t control those services, I’m not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of them is governed by their terms.
09Availability
I may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site — including the globe, the contact form, or the embedded game — at any time and without notice. I don’t promise the site will be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or that stored submissions will be preserved.
10Disclaimer of warranties
The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty that the site will be secure or free of viruses or harmful components.
11Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business, arising out of your use of or inability to use the site — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if advised of the possibility of such damages. My total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where a limitation is unenforceable, it applies to the greatest extent the law allows.
12Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the site, anything you submit through it, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws in your country of residence.
14General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force. My not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the site.
I may update these terms; the “last updated” date above will change when I do, and continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
