StatLab
Track stats. Talk trash. Settle it on the leaderboard.
A pickup-sports stat tracker with accounts, league leaderboards, and season history. Google, phone, and email sign-in; built to settle arguments at the gym rather than in a spreadsheet.
The things I build. The systems I run. The work behind it all.
The Origin Story
I've been the go-to computer guy since I was ten years old, when I built my first PC for my grandmother. Since then, I've gone from modding Minecraft to architecting Active Directory environments and deploying enterprise virtualization.
If you boil down what I enjoy doing, it's a simple mix: I like computers, I like building things, and I like helping people. Enterprise IT is one of the few fields where I get to do all three every single day. I realized early on that I didn't want to build software all day; I wanted to build and secure the heavy infrastructure that everything else runs on.
Today, I'm a Network Administrator at J.F. Ahern Co., leading identity automation and modernizing ITSM infrastructure for over 2,100 users. My background includes managing IT infrastructure across both municipal government and a global defense contractor. I graduated from UCF with my IT degree in May 2026, hold Network+, Security+, and SecAI+ certifications, and I'm currently working toward the Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) to bridge the gap between on-premise hardware and the cloud.
Outside of tech, I'm competitive and love to travel. I recently spent time exploring Portugal and Spain, and when I'm home, I'm usually out on the golf course working on my swing. I also bring that same competitive drive to gaming, at one point reaching a global Top 200 ranking in Brawl Stars.

Led the deployment of Windows 11 across 50+ municipal and Police Department workstations. Executed hardware upgrades to high-capacity SSDs, extending device lifecycles and significantly improving read/write performance. Enforced TPM and UEFI compliance to meet strict government network security standards.
Architected self-hosted internal utilities by deploying Stirling PDF on an Ubuntu Linux VM (via Apache/Tomcat) and Hesk Help Desk on Windows Server. Configured DNS records and local routing to provide city staff with secure, highly available internal solutions.
Provisioned and configured multiple Windows Virtual Machines within a VMware vSphere enterprise environment to facilitate secure remote access, host critical applications, and streamline municipal services.
Deployed Pi-hole for network-wide DNS filtering and telemetry blocking. Configured a lightweight Linux environment with static IPs, DNS routing, and Docker-based containerized services. Monitored and optimized network traffic performance using custom blocklists to improve security.
Developing a custom Debian-based Linux OS utilizing advanced Bash scripting and tailored system configurations. Focused on optimizing system performance, stripping telemetry, and enhancing usability for high-level system administration workflows.
Created a retro-style interactive portfolio using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with HTML Canvas for rendering a 2D explorable map. Built character movement (keyboard and optional mobile joystick), object/NPC interactions, and a fishing minigame with real-time tension control. Integrated Firebase Firestore for a persistent online scoreboard and used Formspree for contact form submissions. Designed a responsive UI with pop-up dialogs, joystick toggling, and mobile support via nipple.js.
